Children and Family Centre aims to improve access for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children 0-8 years & their caregivers to:
- Early childhood education services: through adjunct care, Playgroup and a long daycare centre.
- Family support service: Staff facilitate family and community activities and events that bring together service providers, to promote health and wellbeing programs and resources in the community. It works with mums in support and personal development programs.
- Child & Maternal Health & community education on child and family related matters.
- Pride in My Home: This program can assist families to establish and maintain a safe and healthy home.
- Men's Shed to support fathers and men in the community to provide a space to discuss issues and support men through group discussions and activities. Whilst undertaking activities including art, carpentry and welding.
